About Us
My Retirement Navigator helps adults approaching retirement make sense of the financial decisions ahead. We provide clear, practical education, useful planning tools, and trusted resources designed to help you build greater clarity and confidence about retirement.
My Journey
I’m Reginald Howell, founder of My Retirement Navigator. Throughout my career in leadership, real estate, affordable housing, asset management, budgeting, financial analysis, and long-term planning, I’ve spent years evaluating complex information and helping organizations make better decisions.
Over time, I became increasingly interested in applying those same principles to personal finance and retirement preparation. I also saw how many people spend decades working, raising families, paying bills, and managing everyday responsibilities without ever developing a clear retirement plan.
I created My Retirement Navigator to help close that gap by making retirement planning easier to understand and more practical to put into action.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help adults navigate retirement with greater clarity and confidence by turning complicated financial topics into practical, understandable steps.
My Retirement Navigator is built around a simple philosophy: educate before recommending, keep information practical, be transparent about affiliate relationships, and help readers make informed decisions based on their own goals and circumstances. What You’ll Find Here
My Retirement Navigator is being built as a practical retirement education and resource center.
You’ll find information and resources covering retirement planning and readiness, Social Security and retirement income, budgeting and debt management, investing concepts, housing decisions in retirement, estate and legacy planning, retirement-planning software, and practical checklists and planning tools.
You do not need to be a financial expert to prepare thoughtfully for retirement. My goal is to help you understand your options, identify your next step, and build a plan that becomes stronger over time.
